Information on in-situ plasma arc technology project
Experimental tests of in-situ applications using 200KW and 1MW torches have been successfully performed and documented. Development work is under way to complete a 2 MW system. HQ is planning a three year project to produce a 3MW system for widespread commercial applications primarily in soil remediation and stabilization.
After development of the 2MW torch is completed, we are planning to connect two torches in parallel, loading each on trailer cars. Certain components of the system should be suitable for manufacture in Japan. Theses include power supply, controllers, trucks, etc. Moritec's plan is to seek to have the majority of the black boxes. If possible, we would undertake to encourage the supply of components and systems from Japan to North America and Europe. The graphic representations provide information on the 2MW units and all of them are installed on the three or four trucks each weighing 25 tons.
